The summer of Uniarts Helsinki Library
Prepare for the summer closure of the library well in advance
The Uniarts Helsinki Library will soon close its doors for the summer holidays. Please make sure that you borrow the material you need during the summer well in advance. Loans do not expire during the summer closure.
As an employee or student of Uniarts Helsinki, you can use your Uniarts credentials to access the library’s e-materials, such as e-books and magazines, anywhere in the world. The library guide provides information on using e-materials.
If you have received an invoice from the library for unreturned loans, do not pay the invoice if you still have the materials, but return them as soon as possible after opening by August at the latest. You can also return the materials to the library by post. In this case, the materials will remain under your responsibility until they have been marked as returned by the library. Our postal address can be found on the library website. If the loans are lost, you can pay the invoice, but the loans will not be removed from your data until August. Unpaid invoices will not be transferred to collection during the summer closure.
Töölö Campus Library
Contrary to what was previously announced, Töölö Campus Library’s customer service will be open for the last day on Wednesday 22 June, as on 23 June the entire Helsinki Music Centre will be closed until 14:00 due to property maintenance. Töölö Campus Library’s customer service and self-service library will reopen Monday 1 August. For detailed opening times, see the Arsca online library.
Sörnäinen Campus Library
The customer service and self-service library of the Sörnäinen Campus Library will be open for the last day on Thursday 23 June. The self-service library will reopen on Monday 8 August and customer service on Monday 15 August. For detailed opening times, see the Arsca online library.
Kuopio Library
The Kuopio Campus Library of Uniarts Helsinki has closed its doors for the summer on 2 June. The self-service library will reopen on Thursday 11 August and the library’s customer service on Monday 15 August. For detailed opening times, see the Arsca online library.
