Daniel’s Orchestral Online database available at the Uniarts Helsinki
The library has acquired Daniel’s Orchestral Online database (DOMO) for the university.
Daniels’ Orchestral Music Online is an index of orchestral music. It indexes over 18,700 works by more than 3,100 composers. It provides basic information about each work, such as composer and instrumentation. The database does not contain full scores but does for example include links to the music publisher(s).
New material is constantly being added to the index. The January 2024 update to Daniels Orchestral Music Online includes for example Ann Marie Callaway’s “Amethyst” for soprano & orchestra and Friedrich Gernsheim’s “Elohenu” for cello & orchestra.
