Changes in print services at the library premises
Printing is currently possible only for Uniarts Helsinki users
The Print in City printing service will be discontinued at the University of the Arts Library in the summer of 2024, due to renewal of the university’s printing services. It will be replaced by a new solution designed for clients outside the university, but in the meantime, printing, copying and scanning in the library will only be available for clients from the Uniarts Helsinki (staff and student).
The Print in City devices have so far served as a solution for those users of the copying and printing services who do not have the possibility to make copies on Uniarts-enabled devices, i.e. users other than the students and staff of the university. The library has also sold individual copies from the library customer service for small copying needs (e.g. copying a single sheet music). Both these options will be discontinued for the time being due to the reform.
Balances uploaded to Print in City can be used at other branches of the service.
We will announce the new print service later this year.
